I have nothing but the fondest memories of my life in Akron and my years at Firestone. I can't wait the see everyone from our class. My memory is that we were all very close. Now with Facebook I have been able to reconnect with so many of you.
I spent 35 years as an operating room nurse, specializing in Neurological Surgery and back fusion surgery. At the same time I was running a Custom Quilting business called Just Quilting Around. I became a professional quilter. I was also a featured designer for the Bernina Sewing machine company that had a famous fashion show where my garments were featured and traveled. Jewelry and knitting are also my other hobbies.
I can't forget my two children, one a cop, the other a nurse anesthetist. My daughter has given us two fabulous boys.
